I’m American and I think LRB’s vocals are incredible, I’ve loved them since 1975, I’ve bought all their music and sang karaoke on many of their songs, one of my favorites to sing is Cool Change and Its a Long Way There.

I've always had a like/dislike relationship with Yacht Rock, but this is definitely one of the tunes that truly defined the finest elements of soft rock. It makes you reminisce about why the 1970s was still the best decade for music like this.

It was 1975, my beautiful girlfriend Sue was with me in my bedroom at my parents huge home, (no we were just talking) we were downstairs and my twin brother started playing this brand new song by the Little River bank, It's a long way there, he had it cranked up, he yelled for Sue and I come out and listen to it, we were all just pumped up at this new incredible song. It's been almost 50 years since that day but in my minds eye I can still see it all like it was yesterday, my wonderful girl Sue left me 4 years later for another and I lost my dear twin brother to a robber in 1985. I sit here alone and I remember the good times of yesterday, it's hard not to cry a bit as I think back and how much I miss those times. 😔
